On October 21, 2016 there will be an Educational Campaign being held in School Districts and Communities and across BC.
Operation Safe Stop BC is an ASTSBC education initiative which addresses the problem of motorists who illegally pass stopped school buses. By coordinating activities and public information efforts, Safe Stop educates the motoring public that passing a school bus with its red lights flashing is both illegal and dangerous.
A ‘One Day’ Project being held throughout the Province and within School Districts is a method to introduce Safe Stop to British Columbia Communities.
